Second concert was better. No missing chairs.
Well this time Shannon was there so was my mum and my gran.
For both concerts the year 8-9 girls choir sang: Cannon, Silent Moon and Closer to the Flame.
When we were in the warm up room mrs. Pearce said less silent mooing and more silent mooning just as mrs. Person walked in and she was like "Silent Mooning?!"
The songs for band 3 were: Reflections of Asia and When Kings go Forth.

Concert #1
Our first concert didn't do as smoothly as I hoped. My choir performance was the last item before interval and my band performance was the very last item of the night.
For the band one when we walked on stage and I saw that there was a whole row of chairs missing. I looked at Mrs. Person and she was looking at me trying to ask what was wrong and I tried to tell her that there were chairs missing. During that I felt my cheeks go hot. Hahahahahahaha.

ABODA Band Festival

Fire Drill

Bowl on!
Ok so at about 12:30 pm my mum, gran, aunt, Milo, Cheese and I went to AMF Bowling. I won the first game and my mum won the second.
After bowling we all went to Carousel and we split up. I bought nail polish, bracelets and a hat. I also got a Mango Magic smoothie from Boost.

Blind Make-up Challenge
Shaz, Cheese and Milo came over for a sleepover but Shaz couldn't sleep over.
We played the "Blind Make-up Challenge". It was so funny. After that I did Cheese properly. I made her look goth. We watched random stuff and played around.
We stayed up until about 4:30 am.
For breakfast we had bacon and eggs with hash browns.

Monsters University
Shazzal, Ally, Sarah, Ollie and i went to watch Monster University today.
We met at Utopia and ordered drinks. The movie was funny.
After the movie Shazzal and Ally left pretty much straight away and Sarah, Ollie and I played at the arcade. We played a game called "Push Me Out III" it was a funish game. I was the only one who won something out of that. It was hard because it was where they were all behind plastic and there was only a part of it that you could aim for to push the prize out. It was a fun day.

Slumber Party!
Last day of term 2. At 6 pm some of my friends and I went to Yazzies' place for a slumber party. Sarah, Gracie and Yewon didn't sleep over they left at around 10 pm. The rest of us, Yaz, Shazzal, Liz, Ally and Dilwen watched random stuff on TV. I was the second last to sleep and the first to wake up. I woke up and fell asleep again so many times. First time was when Yaz's mum came in and turned the heater on, the second time was when Liz's alarm on her phone went off (she forgot to turn it off) and the third was just the rest of them getting up. We had fried rice for dinner and pancakes, pizza and jelly for breakfast.

There's Too Much Emphasis on Winning
Today's debate was the topic mentioned in the title. We argued the negative of the topic. I was first speaker, Safa was second and Xuan Rui was third. Kim was the timekeeper. We bought Liimei along as an extra.
We were debating in the last round for today against Lakeland. We won our debate and one of my good comments from Mr. Delves, the adjudicator, was that i was every organised with my palm cards.

Pizza Party
Today during TUTE our TUTE had a pizza party. Its because TUTE 9 won the swim carnival we had in term one.
They ordered 8 pizzas to feed about 30 of us. we all got two and a half pieces. The last piece we had we had to share with a friend.

All the debaters (is that even a word?) went to Melville SHS. We got to wear blazers and ties. There were year 8s, 9s and 10s. The years 9 and 10 were debating in the first round and my team the year 8s debated in the second round.
We went against John Curtain Collage of the Arts. I was the chairperson. Clare was first speaker, Kim was second and Joe was last speaker.
After the debate most the Rossy students, me included, went outside to eat and celebrate. We played music and talked about random stuff.

Power Out
In science today the power went out near the end of the lesson. There were people on the computers there and all their work was lost. Ms. Smith let us out early because of it. Her words were: I can't stand this anymore. Just go.
In music we had a relief teacher and it was horrible! She was so strict. We couldn't make any noises. In the end Sarah and I were passing notes!

Woo Hoo
Ok so I went to my second debating meeting and we were deciding who would go to the first round. We all had to write out names on pieces of paper and put it in a box. I got Kim to do it with me and we both put our names in.
My name was the first to be drawn out and Kim's' was second. I am the Chairperson for round one.

Global Leaders Convention
Ok today I had a Global Leaders Convention at Winthrop Hall, University of Western Australia. It was hosted by 40 Hour Famine, World Vision. Victoria and I were the only year 8s.
We got on the bus at 8 am. The bus we had was Buswest and it was huge! It was licensed to carry 51 adults but we only had two adults and ten students. The two adults were the chaplains, Pauline Burgess and Paul Bestwick. We just call them Pauline and Bestie. It was awesome! We only had ten students going and we had the biggest bus! Other schools had more people and smaller buses. The inside of our bus was awesome.
When we got back we saw that the room under was a mess.
Rossmoyne SHS is doing the 40 Hour Famine and I'm doing the communication part.
When we got back to school we had 20 minutes to spare and we were allowed to go home if we took the bus or our parents were here already. We also were allowed to go to the library and whoever didn't have anything to do went to Student Services with Pauline and Bestie. Daniel and I were the only two that went with them. Apparently according to the school we were never there as Pauline had us signed out for the whole day it was awesome!
This year I am actually going to do the 40 Hour Famine. I am giving up furniture, books, candy and talking for 40 hours!

When we got there we watched a slide show and listened to this guy talking. After that we played the game about surviving. In each round we had to get a certain amount of points. I was in Group D Country 8 which was Indonesia.
My group survived all five rounds! I made a few friends there! During the game we had to cut and put together plots, crops and animals. In the game Germany bought Australia! It was so funny when three people stuck their name tags on the back of the hosts' shirt!
It was so hectic!
We had two breaks.

Epic Fail!
Ok so in Physical Ed we were playing Volleyball (we had been for the past few weeks) and the ball came flying to the net really fast. I was the setter so I was right against the net. When I saw it coming I jumped back so it wouldn't hit me through the net and I fell onto my ass!
When we sat down at the end our teacher was just stretching and I randomly said hi to her and Kim and I started laughing!
After class I told my teacher about the falling part and she laughed at me! Soo funny!

Die Vampirschwestern
Ok so we went to Cinema Paradiso to watch Die Vampirschwestern (The Vampire Sisters) in German of course as this was a German excursion (although nothing will ever beat the German excursion I went on in year six, we actually went to Germany!).
I got to miss the first three periods!
It was a good movie. When we arrived there we were allowed to buy food and drinks. I got a popcorn and Fanta.

High Tea
Mum and I went to Jack and Jill's for brunch. It was really nice but a bit too girly. Mum had English breakfast tea and I had Jasmine tea. We had mini sandwiches (cucumber and chicken), little crouton like things with cream cheese and smoked salmon on them, caramel slice, scones and more sweets. We were given two tea samples to take home mum got lemon grass and I got Darjeeling.

Events
Ok so on Thursday I had planned on going to the ANZAC dawn service but lets say I was too tired.
Later that day mum and I went to the Cirque du Soleil OVO. It was awesome. We weren't allowed to take pictures so I only have photos of the things we bought.
Today we went to Perth Arena to watch the West Coast Fever play against the Melborne Vixens in netball. Vixens won.
I got stuck at my grans house and we played Nintendo Wii. I really hate staying overnight. I had to do this blog on my phone and that wasn't easy as my screen is a bit funny because i cracked it

Snap Happy
The movie was ok. We watched The Croods at Hoyts and Kim and I spent a lot of the time laughing. At some point I had completely forgotten about her.
After thankfully she had to leave so for an hour Kim and I went shopping around. We took so many photos of each other in all different sunglasses. We both bought orange ones with a mustache attached to it! We also tried on some clothes and one of the shirts we both picked up when we tried them we were like no way 'cause they had slits on the side. It was so funny.

Talk About Chatterbox
I spent three and a half hours chatting to Ewan last night!!!
It was so random half of the time!
Oh My Fricken' God!
OMFG!!!
I checked "her" locker and it isn't even close to being as cool as ours. I means seriously all there is in there is a white board, magnets, weird photos of random stuff and a few lousy stickers! She keeps telling people that theirs is better than ours! They spent $65 on that!
Other than that the last day of term 1 was great well at least in comparison. SOSE was the usual but in Computing Extension Kim and I got lots of quotes! In Science we made hydrogen bombs!!! My partner Ash and I took forever to actually understand what we were doing it was soo funny.
Eventually we got it and afterwards our science teacher took out 2 balloons filled with hydrogen and put fire near it and it exploded creating a temporary fireball!
In music I couldn't stop laughing! We were talking about random things and suddenly we're on the topic of my boyfriend! Then that kind of lead to our music teachers love life which lead to her Facebook which lead to her hair and in the end I managed to get her to untie her hair and let it loose. She looks really pretty with her hair down.
Ugh. English was the same old boring things we usually do. Hmf, she said we would have fun on that day but in the end all we did was write answers to question 4 in essay form.
Finally at the end of the day I went back to my locker and Kim was there waiting for me and I find out she can't open the locker. I tried with my key and it didn't open! We worked out that the lock wasn't ours and had to go to student services to get Mr Harmen to cut off the lock. Kim says it's not my fault but it is really because during second break I had the lock around my neck attached to the key and it must have fallen off because it wasn't there when I looked. We looked on the ground and found a lock identical to ours so we thought it was ours so we put it on our locker. In the end it wasn't ours so now we have no lock thankfully it's mid-semester break so there will be no-one at school. Kim "accidentally" broke into "her" locker it was so funny!
Kim and I have a lot planned for this holidays and it's going to be great!

My First Entry
Ok... so this is my first blog so I'm going to say a bit about myself. I'm 13 years young and I am in my freshman year at Rossmoyne Senior High. I'm a bookworm and I like vampire related stuff. I have a YouTube account but I've only made 3 videos so far. I love cute stationary, notebooks, stickynotes, etc. etc. etc. I play the flute so I have to be in choir. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but it's in the morning so yeah... I love listening to music and chatting to my friends.
I've made so many friends this term it's great. Some of my friends are Kim, Ewan, Baby Lion, Cheese, Shazza, Yaz, Allyson, Sarah, Grace, Ollie, Smiley, Lim, Keziah, Tammie and so much more!
At the beginning of the year I met Victoria and it was really fun being around her. That was until I made more friends and wanted to hang out with them during the breaks. she started glaring at me in Computing Extension when Kim and I thought of something funny and started laughing. Mum said she's probably jealous.
I was sharing a locker with Sarocha in the beginning but I swapped with Sam so now I share with Kim. We decorated our locker and it looks really good but Sam and Sarocha copied us and they spent around $65 on stuff. Our locker didn't cost anything we used recycled things. e.g. Christmas ribbons, old stickers and stickynotes. We put 5 lucky stars i made from scrap paper on the outside if the door and today some one took 3 of them! We think it was Sam.
Classes are great on Instagram we I share an account with many friends called @rossy_rebels. I have another account that I share but that's only with Kim. It's called @rossy_memes. I guess the class I hate the most would have to English.
OMG! Since first break today I'm officially going out with Ewan!!! Thanks to Kim of course she told him that he should go out with me!
Kim and I call ourselves Twinies because we are so alike and are great friends (even after only a couple of months). At school Kim's the Loud one and I'm the cute one (why am I always the cute one? Seriously!)
Sorry I didn't get to finish this blog before I had to go but I'll add more later ;)
